Major A Defect,
selected from each lot and tested for the requirements of MIL-C
5541, in accordance with FED- STD-151. A five (5) percent salt
spray solution shall be used and the test time shall be ninety
six (96) hours. Any sample failing to comply with all of the
specified requirements of MIL-C-5541 shall be classed defective.
The lot shall be rejected If one (1) or more samples are classed
defective. Testing is destructive and test samples shall not be
returned to the lot.
