Pushout Test of Primer. - Fifty (50 ) charge assemblies
less propellant and wad, shall be subjected to the test as specified
in 4.4.1.
d. Internal resistance of charge assembly. - Two hundred
and seventy five (275) charge assemblies shall be subjected to the
test as specified in 4.4.2. .
e. Immersion (Leakage) test, - Fifty (50) charge assemblies
shall be subjected to the test as specified In 4.4.3.
f. Non-functioning. - One hundred and twenty five (125 )
charge assemblies shall be subjected to the test as specified
in 4.4.4.
g. Environmental tests (see 3.5-). - Sixty (60) charge
assemblies, after being subjected to and passing the non-function
tests of 4.2.2.f, shall be subjected to the environmental tests
as specified in 4.4.6. After the environmental tests they shall
be functioned as specified in 4.4.5. The charge must function
but does not have to comply with the output criteria to be accept-
able for this test group.
h. Functioning (wet), (see 4.3.3.6.2). - The fifty (50)
charge assemblies, previously subjected to and passing the
immersion test, shall be subjected to the test as specified in
4.4.5.
i. Functioning (dry) (see 4.3.3. 6.3) - Eighty (80)
charge assemblies that have been previously subjected to and
passed the internal resistance test, shall. be subjected to the
test as specified in 4.4.5.
j. Insulator Dielectric Strength. - Fifty (50) charge
assemblies, less propel lant and wad shall be assembled using an
inert primer pin and shall be subjected to the test as specified
in 4.4.7.
4.2.3 Rejection. - If any component, sub-assembly or assembly
fails to comply with any or all of the applicable requirements,
the first article sample shall be rejected. The Government re-
serves the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of'
an inert component, sub-assembly or assembly to comply with any
of the stated requirements.
