source. Any sample failing to comply with applicable require-
ments shall be classed defective. Test samples shall not be
returned to the lot but shall be destroyed after completing the
test.
*4.4.5 Functioning. - The charge assembly with o-ring
(MS-28775-115) In place shall be tested using the e uipment
on dwg. 9278645 and the test procedures on dwg. 9278651 to
record the output and total time requirements. The test sample
shall be classed defective if It fails to comply with the
requirements of dwg. 9287785 and/or fails to fall within the
pressure - time envelope requirements of figure I attached
to this specification. Testing is destructive and test samples
shall not be returned to the lot.
*4.4.6 Environmental tests. - The charge assembly shall
be mounted into a cylinder, dwg. 9287690 and a SUU-13D/A
dispenser or an approved test fixture and subjected to the
temperature shock, humidity, cycling, and vibration tests as
specified in MIL-STD-810 in the sequence `Indicated. After "
conditioning, the charge assemblies. shall be functioned as
specified in 4.4.5 and observation made for compliance with
the applicable requirements.. (Destructive test)
*4.4.7 Insulator Dielectric Strength. _ The charge assembly
shall meet the requirements as specified in paragraph 3.10 and
tested in accordance with dwg. 9287785 and using Government
approved test equipment. The voltage shall be applied between
the extended primer pin and the plug case. Any sample failing
to comply with all of the specified requirements shall be
classed defective.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
5.
5.1 Preservation and Packaging
*5.1.1 Level A. - The charge assembly shall be preserved
and packaged in accordance with dwg. 92876 6.
5.1.2 Packaging. - The charge assembly shall be packaged
in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49
Parts 100-199.
