Ten (10) shorting leafs shall be tested for the

hardness requirements in accordance with 4.4.3.6.

Ten (10) slider springs shall be tested for the
spring rate requirements in accordance with 4.5.4.
i) Ten (10) slider assemblies shall be tested for
the push test requirements in accordance with 4.5.5.
j) Ten (10) fuze flex cable assemblies shall be
tested first for the continuity resistance requirements in accord-
ance with 4.5.6.1. The cable assemblies shall then be tested for
the insulation resistance requirements in accordance with 4.5.6.2.

Ten (10) battery springs shall be tested for the
spring rate requirements in accordance with 4.5.7.

Twenty-five (25) fuze assemblies shall be tested in
the following sequence for the following tests:
Mechanical arming in accordance with 4.5.8.1.

Static arming in accordance with 4.5.8.2.
Arming switch functioning in accordance with 4.5.8.3.

Fuze resistance in accordance with 4.5.8.4.
(5)
Curved spring compression in accordance with 4.5.8,5.

G-weight retainer staking in accordance with 4.5.8.6.
Slider safety in accordance with 4.5.8.7.

Screw torquing in accordance with 4.5.8.8.

Detonator short test in accordance with 4.5.8.9.

Ten (10) of the fuze assemblies from 4.3.2.1 shall
be tested for the jolt and jumble requirements in accordance with
4.5.8.10.

The lead assemblies shall be certified by a Government
Agency that they performed to the requirements of MIL-L-48288.
o) The detonators shall be certified by a Government
Agency that they performed to the requirements of MIL-D-46253.
*4.3.3 Rejection. - If any component, subassembly or assembly
fails to comply with any or all of the applicable requirements, the
first article sample shall be rejected. The Government reserves
the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of an
inert component, subassembly or assembly to comply with any of the
stated requirements.
