Upon initiation of the appropriate detonator for the particular
S&A listed above, the main charge lead train explosive elements
shall function high order and cause the specified min. dents in a
steel confining ring (witness block) at the temperature
indicated. The test shall be performed as specified in 4.5.18.1-
/4.5.18.2. In the case of Delay Det PA 506, the output from the

assembly (See 4.5.19).
a.
Safe position of both spring loaded centrifugal
locks.
b.
Safe position of slider release pin and shear pin.
c.
Safe position of spring loaded slider assembly:
distance of slider assembly from end of S&A,
maximum (max.).
3.8 Detonator and micropiston actuator short circuit.
The
resistance of the short circuit across the detonator(s)/-
micropiston actuator shall be less than 0.015 ohm.
3.9 First article inspection. This specification contains
technical provisions for first article inspection. Requirements
for the submission of first article samples by the contractor
